Now, this is gonna be a really good option if you're looking for something that's gonna be really quick and easy to put on your roof. Now the first time you do it, you might have to figure everything out, but after that, it's really easy. So let's check it out. Now I know we do have skis up here now, but you can also use this for fishing rods too. And the way this is gonna work is we're gonna have these buttons, and I'm actually not a big fan of this design because it can be kinda hard to hit if you have those thicker gloves on, but if you kind of use just the side of your hand, you'll be able to open 'em up too. more

Now the one we have today is gonna be the one that can carry up to four skis or two snowboards. Now this does come in a larger size that's gonna give you the ability to carry up to six skis, but they're all gonna have the same features. And this is really one that's a great option if you're trying to get your skis from point A to point B, because putting 'em on top of your roof is gonna be a much better option than trying to stuff them in the back where it's gonna be really cramped. And these are really designed to work with your skis that have tall bindings. more

The one we have today is gonna be the one that can carry up to four skis for two snowboards. The other size is gonna be a two ski, a three ski, and a six ski, but they're all gonna work the same way. Now this is a really nice option for carrying your skis from point A to point B. Especially since in this Sorento, yeah, you do have a little bit more space to put them back there, but it's definitely not gonna be a comfortable fit. more

Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2021 Kia K5- Video

How's it going, everyone Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier and seeing how it fits on our 2021 Kia K5. This is going to be the four ski, two board option, but there is a six ski, three, and two ski version available as well, and each of those are going to double as fishing rod holders in the warmer weather seasons, so it's a great entry level way to get skis and snowboards or fishing rods up on top of your roof and where you need them to go safely, so let's check them out. The carrier is going to be able to support 53 pounds. We're gonna open them up just by pressing these large buttons on the end, which I can do with the palm of my hand, which is nice. If I am skiing or snowboarding, I probably have mittens or gloves on, and once they're open, they stay open, and we can take a closer look at the jaws. So they do have padding on both the top and the bottom, not only to cushion and protect our gear, but it's going to keep it from sliding back and forth. more

So with this vehicle, I highly recommend getting a roof rack that will work best for you. We are using the Yakima Roof Rack and it's a great pairing with this car. If you wanna carry your skis and snowboard, you don't wanna try putting that in your trunk where all this snow melts and creates a mess, It's a lot better to put it here up top. And with the FatCat EVO features, you have things like locks, as well as height adjustments to get the best fit for your snowboards. The main reason might be because you're just having your skis and snowboards traveling with you and you're renting a car for wherever you're going. Kuat Grip Slide Out Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2021 Kia Forte- Video

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at how the Kuat Grip Ski and Snowboard Carrier fits on the 2021 Kia Forte. The Kuat Grip is a premium ski and snowboard carrier that has a bunch of features in there just to make it easy for you to load your skis up, but also, keep them secured. And it is a sunny day here in Missouri, but what if you still need to load up your Kia Forte and get your skis and snowboards out to where you can go down those slopes Now, the way this works is it slides out to make it easier for you, maybe not as much of an important feature for a shorter sedan like this, but we'll still take a look at it. I really like the handle design of the Kuat Grip, because it makes it easy to access the carrier, but even if you have your big gloves, all you need to do is push up, and it pops the entire carrier lid up. And from here, some people would have to reach in to grab their skis and snowboards or open up the door, things like that, but you only need to press these buttons, and the entire thing slides out. So this version can carry up to four pairs of skis or two snowboards. more

Whispbar Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2015 Kia Sorento- Video

Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento we're going to be doing a test fit of the Whispbar Ski and Snowboard Carrier for the top of your vehicle. This is going to be part number WB-300. Now this is going to be perfect for six skis or four snowboards. First thing you're going to need to do is make sure that you have the rubber straps open and out of the grooves. Set it up on top of the vehicle, lined up with the front one, bring the straps around and hook them into the grooves, just like so. Then we will just fold over that piece until it snaps in place. more

Today in our 2013 Kia Sorento, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Rocky Mouns Flip-Up, medium, ski and snowboard carrier. This is going to be for your roof rack mounted systems. It's going to be for four skis or four snowboards. As you can see, we already have one mounted up here on top of our vehicle with the inaudible 00:19 set up and then our stock bars underneath them. We're going to go ahead and place this up on the backside and show you how it's all done. Go ahead and undo your cables and pull the plastic piece to the side. Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2013 Kia Optima- Video

Today on our 2013 Kia Optima we'll be test fitting the Yakima Fatcat6 locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier with a six ski or four board capacity. With a Yakima Roundbar roof rack system assembled on our vehicle, we'll being our test fit by placing half of our carrier onto our front crossbar. Once we have it in place here on the passenger side we can bring the rubber coated strap around the crossbar fitting it back into the foot of the carrier, we can then clamp it shut. Then we'll repeat the process for the other side. We'll push the over sized button here on the end of our carrier to open our jaws. On the inside we'll flip up the thumb tabs, tighten them and then push them back down. more

Whispbar Roof Ski and Snowboard Carrier Review - 2013 Kia Optima- Video

Today on our 2013 Kia Optima, we'll be test fitting the Whispbar Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, with a six ski or four board capacity, part number WB-300. With a Yakima round bar roof rack system assembled on to our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front half our carrier onto our front crossbar. Once we have it situated on the bar where we like, we can bring our straps around the bar fitting them back into the foot of carrier and then clamping them shut. We'll press the over-sized button here on the end of our carrier to open our jaw, move to the driver's side and on the inside of our carrier bring our strap around and fit it back into the foot of the carrier. With our jaw open we can flip up the thumb screw on the inside, tighten it and then flip it back down. This is the last step in securing our strap around our bar. We want to be sure to do this for both sides of the carrier here at the front. We'll grab the second half of our carrier and place it onto our rear bar. We want to make sure it is in line with our front half, then we can repeat the same tighten process we used at the front. With our jaws open, we'll grab our snowboard and place it onto our carrier, followed by our skis, then we can close the jaws firmly over our gear. Just like that we are all loaded up and ready to go. That completes today's test fit of the Whispbar Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, part number WB-300, on our 2013 Kia Optima. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento well be test fitting the Yakima Fatcat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier with a six ski or four board capacity, part number y03088. Well begin our test fit, by placing the front part of the carrier onto our front crossbar. With the jaws open exposing the two black levers well bring the steel straps around the crossbar and hook them ino the connection points. Well then turn the black levers and clamp them down and repeat the same steps for the other side. Well now place the rear part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar again with the jaws open exposing the black levers. Well bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the bar and hook them into the connection points. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento we'll be test fitting the Whispbar Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier with a Six Ski or Four Board Capacity, part number wb-300. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front part of the carrier onto our front crossbar. We'll open up the jaws and bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the bar and hook them into the connection points.We'll then turn the black lever and clamp it down and repeat these steps for the other side. We'll now place our rear part of the carrier onto the rear crossbar. Again with the jaws open we'll bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the bar and hook them into the connection points. We'll then turn the black levers and clamp them down and repeat the same steps for the other side.Now with both pieces secured onto our vehicle we'll push in the black oversized buttons at the end of the carrier to open up the jaws. more

Today on our 2010 Kia Forte Koup, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FatCat 6 locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier, with a 6-ski or 4-board capacity, part number Y03088. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing half of our carrier onto the front part of our roof. We'll bring our straps around the front crossbar, fitting them back into the head. We'll do this on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle. Once we have them into position and clipped down, we can then press the oversize button here on the end of our carrier to open up our jaws. This allows us to gain access to the thumb tab on the inside so we can tighten the front part of our carrier. more

Today on our 2010 Kia Forte Koup, we'll be test fitting the Whispbar locking rooftop ski and snowboard carrier with a 6-ski or 4-board capacity, part number WB-300. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing half of our carrier onto the front crossbar. We'll bring the rubber steel straps around, fitting them back into the head, and snapping them into position. If you need some more slack, you can use the red dial on the inside of the foot, or you can open up the jaws and use the hand tab on the inside. Once we have both straps on the front part of our carrier in place, we're going to push the button on the end of our carrier to open our jaw. We'll use the screw tabs on the inside to finish securing each strap. more
